You may submit and mail a paper entry form with entry fees if you would like. Entries & fees MUST be received by June 14th or they will not be accepted.

QUEEN - Jamie Taylor

Jamie is the 16 year old daughter of Zack and Lacey Taylor of Burlington, WY. Jamie is currently a sophomore at Burlington High School. She enjoys showing steers in FFA and 4H, participating in volleyball and riding and roping. Her future goals are to attend college and become an ultrasound technician.

PRINCESS - Ava Wennberg

Ava is the 14 year old daughter of Josh and Ashley Wennberg of Otto, WY. Ava is currently an 8th grader at Burlington Middle School. Ava enjoys running, riding her horse, hanging out with friends, starting colts, horse judging in FFA and is also the President of her 4H club. Her future plans include ranching and starting colts. She would like to attend LCCC for college.

SPORTSMANSHIP - Isabella Swank

This was an award voted on by the fellow contestants. Congratulations Isabella for having great sportsmanship and being a role model for others.

ABOUT US

Lovell Rodeo Club was created in March 2020 by a local group of like minded, rodeo enthusiasts. This newly formed group has a passion to see this community event not only continue, but evolve. We believe rodeo teaches our youth so much more than just winning to get a paycheck. It teaches responsibility, sportsmanship, kindness for your fellow competitor and for the animals involved. Rodeo is a great way to continue to improve your own skill set as well as help others improve theirs. Currently, Lovell Rodeo Club hosts 1 rodeo a year as a part of the Big Horn Rodeo Circuit. This rodeo is held in conjunction with the community celebration, Lovell Mustang Days and is normally scheduled for the last Saturday in June. In the future, Lovell Rodeo Club would like to be more involved and host other events such as a youth rodeo, a ranch rodeo and team ropings/barrel racings.
